Multilingual (ELL/ESL) Teacher: Newark, NJ

Teachers will be responsible for preparing lesson plans based on student english proficiency levels and teaching small group classes using both pull-Out and push-In instructional models. They must also use data to guide instruction, monitor student progress, and collaborate with families and colleagues to support student achievement.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree with a minimum gpa (3.0 if graduated after 2016, 2.75 if before) and hold or be in the process of obtaining appropriate state teaching certification. Essential qualities include a belief in student potential, subject matter expertise, and a demonstrated interest in working with diverse economic and cultural backgrounds.
