Behavior Technician Trainee

Rbts collaborate with individuals with autism and other intellectual or developmental disabilities (Idds) to decrease challenging behaviors, enhance functional skills, and promote independence by implementing established treatment plans. Responsibilities include direct client interaction, documenting progress, collecting behavior data, and providing necessary training and instruction to meet identified goals.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or ged, with no prior experience being necessary for entry into the role. Successful completion of the bayada rbt academy and passing the rbt exam are required to become a registered behavior technician with bayada.
