Career Counselor

The role involves planning, coordinating, developing, and implementing professional individual and group counseling programs for assigned students in compliance with directives. Essential functions include reviewing student files, conducting interviews, maintaining records, and providing direct aid for personal needs or problems.

A bachelor’s degree is required, which must include 15 semester hours in social services related instruction, along with one year of experience in counseling or a related field. Candidates must also possess experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communication skills, computer proficiency, and a valid driver’s license.
