Job description

  • Camp Pa-Gon-Ki, in Londonderry, NH, is seeking Lifeguards for the summer 2026 season!

  • Our camp, a traditional outdoor summer day camp, has a team of Lifeguards that support and oversee camp swim time throughout the summer, in addition to open member swim.
  • We serve youth at camp and ensure safety for all while having fun and acting as positive role models.

  • Lifeguards must be able to recognize and respond to hazardous situations.
  • They must be able to supervise swimmers, minimize dangers, educate participants about water safety, enforce rules and give assistance whenever needed.
  • Eligible candidates should possess a current Red Cross Lifeguard or YMCA Lifeguard certification (or be willing and able to obtain via one of our FREE courses) and additional First Aid related certifications.

Qualifications

Hold current Lifeguard certification Must be available to attend camp trainings before and throughout camp season Able to bring a patient, caring, responsible, flexible and positive attitude to work Position Specifics: Summer season runs 06/17/26 through 08/28/26 and must be able to work most of the weeks FLEXIBLE Hours available within weekdays and weekends including early morning, daytime and afternoon/evening shifts Pay range $14.25 - $17.55 depending upon experience Year-round employment opportunities are available with the YMCA.
