Core responsibilities
Behavior technicians work one-On-One with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a board certified behavior analyst (Bcba). This involves using evidence-Based techniques to teach necessary skills and reduce interfering behaviors.
Requirements summary
Candidates must be passionate about helping children with autism, patient, compassionate, and capable of teamwork, requiring them to be 18 or older with a high school diploma or ged. Physical requirements include the ability to move in various positions and lift/Carry up to 50 pounds, along with obtaining cpr/First aid certification and passing a background check.
