Assistant Professor

The assistant professor will be responsible for teaching clinical social work practice courses, assessing student proficiency, and providing advisement to diverse students. Responsibilities also include mentoring students in scholarly activities, assisting with curriculum development, and maintaining an active research agenda.

Candidates must possess a master of social work (Msw) degree from a cswe-Accredited institution and have a minimum of two years of post-Msw experience and two years of teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level. Being a licensed clinical social worker (Lcsw) in new york or another jurisdiction, or being willing to pursue licensure, is required, while a doctoral degree is strongly desired.
