Day Camp Counselor

The summer day camp counselor is responsible for participating in and planning daily camp activities and programs while holding primary responsibility for the health, safety, and well-Being of the children. This role also involves maintaining positive communication with parents, program staff, and community resources.

Essential functions include assisting in establishing positive communication with families, maintaining a safe and healthful learning environment, and supporting children's social-Emotional development through appropriate guidance and activities. Physical demands require the ability to plan and lead activities, lift a minimum of 35 pounds, stand for long periods, and interact with children on the floor.
