The clinical nurse educator ii provides professional development and education services in the clinical setting to assist nurses in acquiring knowledge and skills for contemporary clinical practice. This includes supporting nurses in data collection, analysis for nursing diagnoses, identifying outcomes, and developing comprehensive plans of care.

Candidates must possess a graduate degree or post-Master's certificate preparing them to practice as a nurse educator, along with current new york state registered nurse licensure. A minimum of five years of current clinical experience is required, with previous educational experience and national certification being preferred.
