Group Exercise Instructor - South Valley

The instructor leads energizing, fun, safe, and educational group classes to accomplish the ymca mission, while also building community within the class and supporting participants in achieving their health and well-Being goals. This includes modifying classes for varied needs, celebrating achievements, and maintaining accurate attendance records.

Candidates must possess required certifications including cpr, first aid, aed, and a national group fitness certification (Ace, neta, afaa, nasm) or ymca foundations of group exercise certification. One year of experience teaching group wellness classes is preferred, along with obtaining specific ymca certifications within the first six months of hire.
