Core responsibilities
Behavior technicians work one-On-One with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a board certified behavior analyst (Bcba). Responsibilities include teaching communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors using evidence-Based techniques.
Requirements summary
Candidates must be passionate about helping children with autism, patient, compassionate, and able to work in a team, requiring a high school diploma or ged and being 18 years of age or older. Applicants must also be physically capable of various movements and lifting up to 50 pounds, and must obtain registered behavior technician certification after onboarding.
