Core responsibilities
The paraprofessional/1
1 aide will provide targeted small group or one-On-One behavioral and academic support to students with special needs, ensuring adherence to their individualized education programs (Ieps). This role involves collaborating with staff to develop and implement intervention and academic support plans while ensuring accommodations are met in inclusive classroom settings.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with either an associate's degree, 48 college credit hours, or successful completion of a formal massachusetts-Endorsed assessment like parapro or workkeys. Experience supporting students with significant behavioral needs and a strong commitment to the mission of serving underserved urban youth are highly valued.
