Core responsibilities

Core duties include developing community coalitions, performing environmental scans, identifying resource gaps, and providing specific training like conversations for suicide safer homes and counseling on access to lethal means.
Requirements summary
Candidates must have an associate’s degree in a related field, or a high school diploma/Equivalent plus at least two years of experience in psychiatric, substance use treatment, peer support, or developmental disabilities. Essential qualifications include competency-Based training in suicide prevention, intervention, and postvention, along with knowledge of the gun-Owning community.
