Assistant Teacher HS

This role involves assisting the lead teacher in a head start classroom by implementing a child-Centered curriculum, addressing challenging behaviors, and observing/Documenting children's progress for all abilities. The assistant must also actively partner with families to establish positive interaction patterns across program, school, and home settings.

Candidates must meet specific educational requirements, such as holding a cda credential or being enrolled to complete one within a year, or possessing a bachelor's degree in early childhood education with relevant credits. Prior head start or pre-School experience is preferred, along with intermediate computer literacy and strong decision-Making and communication skills.
