Core responsibilities
The resident is expected to learn to provide patient assessment, formulate and implement treatment plans, follow up on best practices, and engage in practice management under supervision. Essential functions include adhering to policies, managing financial aspects of care, reviewing prescriptions, performing comprehensive patient examinations, and fitting/Instructing users on prescribed orthotic or prosthetic products.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a master's degree from an accredited orthotics & prosthetics program, or be currently enrolled in such a program with an integrated residency design. Applicants must also ensure they are applying through the oprecas system as required by ncope.
