Youth Counselor - Mason CIty-FULL TIME-1st SHIFT

The youth counselor will provide direct care services, including assessing client interactions, formulating interventions based on treatment plans, and evaluating progress toward treatment goals. Specific duties involve reinforcing adaptive behaviors, utilizing de-Escalation techniques, and ensuring the consistent provision of basic client needs.

Candidates must be at least 21 years old and possess a high school diploma or ged; a bachelor's degree in a human services field is preferred but not required. Essential qualifications include a desire to help children succeed, strong communication and problem-Solving abilities, and basic computer skills.
