Monitor - La Entrada

The monitor directs and safely supervises students 24 hours a day, including monitoring for signs of substance abuse and intervening in altercations. Responsibilities also include conducting bed checks, communicating with staff, serving as a positive role model, and handling incident reporting and documentation.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and be at least 21 years of age, along with current first aid and cpr certifications. Essential qualifications include strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent organization, and an understanding of the effects of incarceration and cultural differences within criminal justice populations.
