High School Special Education Teacher

The special education teacher is responsible for delivering specific course content online, providing instruction, support, and guidance tailored to each student's individualized education program (Iep). Key duties include developing compliant ieps, facilitating meetings, modifying lessons, monitoring progress through data collection, and maintaining positive rapport with families.

Minimum requirements include a bachelor's degree and an active michigan teaching certification with a special education endorsement, along with the ability to clear a required background check. Candidates must also be able to work independently, maintain a professional home office, and possess proficiency in microsoft office applications.
