Elementary School Special Education Teacher

The teacher is responsible for delivering specific course content in an online environment, providing instruction, support, and guidance focused on students’ individual needs as defined by their individualized education program (Iep). Essential functions include ensuring all special education services are provided per the iep, developing compliant documentation, leading meetings, and actively working with students and parents to advance learning.

Minimum requirements include a bachelor's degree, an active michigan teaching certification with a special education endorsement, and the ability to clear a required background check. Candidates must also be able to work independently, maintain a professional home office, and adapt to new technologies.
