Behavior Support Assistant

The assistant helps conduct functional behavior assessments (Fbas) and implements behavior support plans (Bsps) while serving as a clinical role model for direct support staff and teaching life skills. Responsibilities also include providing aba counseling, coaching support providers, maintaining documentation, and responding to safety needs.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, plus two years of experience in an aba environment or similar human services role, including one year working directly with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/Dd) or behavioral challenges. Must obtain registered behavior technician (Rbt) certification within six months and hold a valid driver's license.
