Occupational Therapist - Education Services

The occupational therapist provides therapy services based on documented goals, develops and implements safe interventions, and assesses participation in academics, play, vocational, and self-Care skills for students with brain-Based disorders. Responsibilities also include regular communication with parents and staff, and managing/Training on adaptive and assistive technology equipment.

A valid license and current registration as an occupational therapist issued by the nys department of education are required, along with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in microsoft word and powerpoint. Preferred qualifications include two years of relevant experience working with school-Aged children with significant disabilities.
