1:1 Teachers Aide

The role involves supporting a school-Age child with intellectual/Developmental disabilities to achieve individualized goals set by the educational and therapeutic teams. This includes assisting with instruction, therapeutic focus, personal care activities of daily living (Adls), and implementing positive behavior interventions.

A high school diploma or equivalent is the minimum requirement, along with effective written and oral communication skills, and the ability to observe and collect data. Candidates must demonstrate enthusiasm, positivity, patience, and the physical capacity to assist students, including lifting and implementing emergency interventions.
