Grades 1-2 Judaic Studies Teacher

The teacher is responsible for creating a flexible elementary grade program focused on judaic studies, including teaching hebrew, jewish holidays, and parshat hashavua, while fostering student growth and maintaining a positive learning environment. Essential duties also involve establishing rapport with students and parents, evaluating academic and social growth, and collaborating with staff on curriculum and programming.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited university and an illinois teaching certificate, with hebrew proficiency and background knowledge of jewish holidays, practices, and the bible being necessary. While experience is preferred, it is not strictly required for hiring.
