26-27 Middle School Special Education Math Teacher

The middle school special education math teacher is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing an instructional program in a special education learning support environment to help students reach their academic potential according to the network's standards. Essential functions include delivering math, reading, writing, and social skills instruction via push-In/Pull-Out services, maintaining iep paperwork, and collecting data on student goals.

Candidates must possess a b.a./B.s. Degree and 2-3 years of special education classroom experience, preferably in urban education, along with a valid and active pennsylvania instructional certificate. Required attributes include demonstrated skill in working with diverse student populations, creative problem-Solving, and a commitment to continuous learning and refinement of craft.
