Core responsibilities
Assistant teachers will support the lead teacher in creating a caring and educational atmosphere for infants (6 weeks - 12 months) or toddlers (1 - 3 years), fostering strong relationships with families. Responsibilities include assisting in delivering tailored learning experiences, contributing to lesson plans, ensuring a safe environment, and collaborating with staff on daily activities.
Requirements summary
A minimum of a high school diploma/Ged and at least one year of child care experience in a licensed odjfs program are required, preferably with experience working with infants or toddlers. Candidates must also pass a bci/Fbi background check and meet specific physical demands related to caring for young children.
