Point of Care Educator

The point of care educator is responsible for developing, conducting, and evaluating training related to moderate and waived complexity testing, including sample collection. This role also serves as a resource for clinicians and management regarding regulatory requirements and identifying staff educational needs for point of care testing (Poct).

Candidates must possess four years of combined relevant teaching experience and expertise in the area, along with clinical laboratory experience covering test performance, quality control, documentation, and specimen collection (Capillary and venipuncture). A current washington driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are also mandatory.
