About the role

Part-time faculty will instruct courses related to Child Development/Early Childhood Education and Education, potentially including evening or weekend classes. Instructors are also required to develop curriculum for the courses they teach.

Part-Time Faculty - Bachelors of Education (District-Wide) - Multiple Locations Teaching Child Development/Early Childhood Education, and Education (Academic) related course work.

Applications for part-time faculty positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed if openings become available.

These positions are not current vacancies.

Instructors employed as part-time faculty are not entitled to all the rights, privileges, and benefits of regular, full-time employees.

Part-time faculty are hired on an "as needed" basis and will work for the duration of time specified by the respective course.

A portion of teaching assignment may be evening classes and possibly weekend classes.

Faculty are assigned to teach courses using various delivery methods based on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College, which may require a physical presence at the assigned on-site work location.

Faculty are required to develop curriculum for courses.

Required Qualifications: Master's Degree or higher in Education, Child Development/Early Childhood, with at least eighteen (18) graduate hours in the field of Child Development and/or Early Childhood.

Three (3) years' work experience with young children.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in teaching Education, Child Development/Early Childhood coursework in higher education. Teaching children in a classroom setting. Salary Grade: AH Salary is based on the Board-approved salary schedule for the current fiscal year. Requirements

Candidates must possess a Master's Degree or higher in Education, Child Development, or Early Childhood, including at least eighteen graduate hours in Child Development and/or Early Childhood. A minimum of three years of work experience with young children is also mandatory.
