Job description

  • Part-Time Faculty - Bachelors of Education (District-Wide) - Multiple Locations Teaching Child Development/Early Childhood Education, and Education (Academic) related course work.
  • Applications for part-time faculty positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed if openings become available.
  • These positions are not current vacancies.
  • Instructors employed as part-time faculty are not entitled to all the rights, privileges, and benefits of regular, full-time employees.
  • Part-time faculty are hired on an "as needed" basis and will work for the duration of time specified by the respective course.
  • A portion of teaching assignment may be evening classes and possibly weekend classes.
  • Faculty are assigned to teach courses using various delivery methods based on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College, which may require a physical presence at the assigned on-site work location.
  • Faculty are required to develop curriculum for courses.
  • Required Qualifications: Master's Degree or higher in Education, Child Development/Early Childhood, with at least eighteen (18) graduate hours in the field of Child Development and/or Early Childhood.
  • Three (3) years' work experience with young children.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in teaching Education, Child Development/Early Childhood coursework in higher education. Teaching children in a classroom setting.
