Core responsibilities
This role involves providing general orientation, annual in-Service, and ongoing education to all staff, while also offering clinical support and training to nursing personnel across various care settings. The coordinator will collaborate with all departments to identify training needs and subsequently design and coordinate relevant training programs.
Requirements summary
Candidates must be licensed as a nurse in virginia, with an rn preferred over an lpn, and possess previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or continuing care retirement community. Essential qualifications also include academic or professional experience in adult workplace education, strong computer proficiency, excellent communication skills, and comfort with public speaking.
