Core responsibilities
The early childhood aide assists the classroom teacher in maintaining a safe, nurturing, and faith-Filled learning environment by supporting the spiritual, physical, and academic development of young children. Key duties include coordinating routines, supervising students during various activities, facilitating skill development, and managing behavior in a faith-Based manner.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a love and understanding of young children and be willing to model catholic values, along with effective communication skills and the ability to work calmly as part of a team. A high school diploma is required, while an associate’s degree or cda is preferred, along with experience working with young children and willingness to obtain cpr/First aid certification.
