Paraprofessional - 1:1 secondary special education, 6th-8th grade

This role involves providing individualized support to secondary students with disabilities according to their individual education plan (Iep), covering academic, health, daily living, and behavioral needs. Responsibilities include monitoring classroom activities, assisting with personal hygiene, performing trained invasive procedures, and implementing behavior intervention plans under teacher supervision.

Candidates must meet qualifications outlined in the paraprofessional guide, pass required written and physical exams covering de-Escalation and restraint within 75 days of hire, and possess a valid colorado driver's license if required for transport duties. Applicants must also live in colorado and support racial and educational excellence.
