Paraprofessional, 1:1 secondary special education, 6th-8th grade

This role involves providing individualized support to secondary students with disabilities across academic, health, daily living, and behavioral domains as outlined in their individual education plans (Iep). Responsibilities include monitoring classroom activities, assisting with personal hygiene and medically invasive procedures when trained, and collecting data on iep goals under teacher supervision.

Candidates must refer to the paraprofessional qualifications guide for acceptable qualifications and must pass district-Approved written and physical exams covering de-Escalation and physical restraint training within 75 days of hire. Applicants must also live in colorado, meet physical demands, and potentially obtain a colorado driver's license if transporting students.
