K-8 School Counselor (AMS Little Rock) 26-27

The school counselor will provide direct individual and group counseling services, support students identified as high-Risk through structured interventions, and help ensure students are equipped for academic and personal success. This role also involves assessing and responding to crisis situations and supporting the implementation of school-Wide character development programs.

Minimum requirements include a master’s degree in school counseling, education, psychology, or a related field, along with a valid arkansas school counselor certification/Licensure and strong knowledge of student support practices. Preferred qualifications include prior experience in school counseling or mental health services, especially in title i or high-Need environments.
