School Social Worker - Full Time - Behavioral Health

The school social worker provides school-Based counseling services to individuals and groups as specified in a pupil's individual education plan (Iep), while also offering support services to families and maintaining communication with parents/Guardians and the sending school district. Responsibilities include setting behavioral expectations, enforcing school rules, providing various forms of counseling, and participating in iep development and evaluation.

Candidates must possess a master's degree in social work and a minimum of three years of experience working as a social worker with adolescents, along with passing the njdoe criminal history review. Required licenses include either an nj licensed social worker or nj licensed clinical social worker, alongside excellent written and verbal communication skills and proficiency in computer applications.
