Core responsibilities
The latin teacher will prepare subject-Specific lessons covering pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar, while also teaching topics related to the culture, geography, religion, and society of ancient egypt, greece, and rome. Responsibilities include delivering instruction above grade standard, implementing the basis curriculum through creative lessons, and tutoring students to enhance their academic success.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a deep knowledge of and passion for latin, the ability to differentiate instruction for rigorous content, and strong communication skills. A minimum requirement is a bachelor's degree in the subject area, though coursework or certification in education is not required; postgraduate work is preferred.
