Classroom Assistant- SACC

The assistant teacher supports the lead teacher in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate daily activities to promote children's cognitive, physical, social, and emotional competence. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe and healthful learning environment, assisting with curriculum activities, and fostering positive communication with parents and staff.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged plus two years of relevant work experience in child care and development, and be at least 18 years old. Compliance with background checks (Act 33), required certifications (Cpr, first aid, aed, child abuse training), and passing a physical examination are mandatory.
