Core responsibilities

The behavior technician is responsible for implementing behavior analytic interventions for individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities, reporting to the board-Certified behavior analyst or board-Certified assistant behavior analyst. This role also requires the ability to model intervention techniques for trainees and the patients' family members.

Requirements summary

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged and must be certified by the behavior analyst certification board as a registered behavior technician, currently enrolled in the training, or commit to completing the training at the center to obtain certification. Basic life support certification is required within six months of the start date.
