Core responsibilities
The lpn apprentice assists licensed practitioners in identifying patient needs and goals, and contributes to evaluating the plan of care by gathering and communicating patient responses to interventions. Responsibilities also include implementing prescribed medical regimens, collaborating with the team, and participating in health education and discharge planning.
Requirements summary
Applicants must be accepted into the lake region state college lpn academic program and achieve a minimum teas score of 58.7 before the start date. Required certifications include nurse aide or cna within one month and unlicensed assistive person (Uap/T) within six months, in addition to basic life support (Bls) prior to starting.
