RN Apprentice

The rn apprentice performs skills under the supervision of a registered nurse, developing care plans based on comprehensive patient assessments covering physical, psychological, and social needs. Essential functions include performing daily rounds, promptly addressing patient symptoms like pain, identifying early warning signs of deterioration, and ensuring timely interventions and accurate documentation.

Applicants must be accepted into the lake region state college rn academic program prior to the start date and must possess a licensed practical nurse certification from the north dakota board of nursing before starting. A basic life support (Bls) certification from the american heart association is also required prior to the start date.
