Core responsibilities
The athletic trainer provides comprehensive on-Site sports medicine services to partner high school(S), including injury prevention, evaluation, emergency care, treatment, and rehabilitation under the direction of a team physician. This role also involves serving as a liaison between athletes, parents, coaches, and the hospital's sports medicine program to facilitate referrals and support physician growth.
Requirements summary
A minimum requirement is a bachelor's degree in athletic training, along with current state licensure as a licensed athletic trainer and boc certification, with preferred qualifications including 1-3 years of secondary school experience and a master's degree.
