School Psychologist

Responsibilities include consulting and collaborating with school staff and families regarding student psychological needs, conducting screenings and comprehensive evaluations to determine service needs, and participating in the iep process for qualifying students. The role also requires providing psychology sessions using current best practices and maintaining all required documentation according to district and nasp ethics.

Candidates must hold an esa from their state's office of superintendent of public instruction or a ncsp certificate issued after december 31, 1991, by the national school psychology certification board. The position also requires assuming responsibility for ongoing continuing education and professional development.
