Radiology Student Technologist Extern – Southside Freestanding Emergency Department

The radiology student tech must work under the direction of a registered radiologic technologist, applying diagnostic imaging skills safely using ionizing radiation. Essential functions include assisting with reviewing patient information for exams, providing lifting assistance, and escorting patients to and from radiology.

Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited radiology program, have completed one year of school with a minimum gpa of 2.5, and possess or be working towards a bls certification. A state limited gxmo license is preferred unless mandated by the state of employment.
