Behavioral Health Education Specialist I

The behavioral health education specialist provides direct patient care by facilitating educational programming and implementing treatment plans in a safe, supportive environment. They also perform crisis interventions, document patient interactions in the electronic medical record, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team.

Candidates must have four or more years of experience in behavioral health, special education, or early childhood education. Proficiency in de-Escalation techniques, strong communication skills, and a valid driver's license are required.
