Job description

  • Thrive By 5 is a pediatric therapy agency providing services to children birth-5 years old.
  • We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist/CF to provide Center Based Pre-K services located in Syracuse, NY.
  • This is a full-time position, but part-time can be considered.
  • Essential duties and responsibilities: The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Provide Skilled Speech Therapy services to children within a Pre-K classroom in individual and group sessions.
  • Contribute to the development and follow through of the IEP.
  • Establish and maintain parent communication and education to support carryover across settings.
  • Collaborate with other service providers to support IEP goals and objectives.
  • Complete session notes and annual reviews as required.
  • Collaborate with center-based team Provide CPSE evaluatons (optional).
  • Maintain the highest clinical and ethical standards in service provision.

Qualifications

M.A. or M.S. degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders/Speech-Language Pathology NYS License in Speech Pathology (or eligible CF) required Must demonstrate excellent written, communication, and interpersonal skills Must be able to collaborate with the clinical team and all related service providers on a caseload Our mission is to provide the best possible services to children in their natural environments.
