Maternal Ed Consultant II/Lactation Consultant - Mother Baby Unit Full Time

The maternal education consultant develops, coordinates, presents, and evaluates perinatal education and support for parents and professionals, while also identifying and providing continuing education resources in lactation. Essential functions include facilitating problem-Solving related to lactation, fostering breastfeeding support, managing rental contracts, processing payments, and maintaining inventory of supplies and rental equipment.

Candidates must possess an associate's degree in nursing and maintain an active florida registered nurse (Rn) license, along with current bls certification. Required certifications include either international board certified lactation consultant (Ibclc) or certified lactation counselor (Clc), and applicants need two years of experience in maternal education consulting or clinical experience in an obstetric, neonatal, or pediatric specialty.
