RN School Nurse

The registered nurse will oversee student health and well-Being, provide first aid, administer prescribed medications, and instruct students in health education. Key duties include maintaining accurate health records, corresponding with parents and providers, and developing individual health care plans for students with allergies.

Candidates must possess a current/Active illinois registered nurse license and have considerable knowledge of medical and mental health disorders, as well as child growth and development. Working knowledge of relevant public health procedures and federal, state, and local laws affecting school health services is also required.
