RN School Nurse - Sylvania Schools

The rn school nurse provides direct care to students, managing injuries, acute illnesses, and chronic conditions, while also acting as a liaison between school staff, families, and healthcare professionals. This role involves screening for health conditions, providing health education, and leading school health policies and programs, including mental health protection and intervention.

Candidates must possess an associate degree in nursing and hold an active registered nurse license in ohio, along with ohio department of education registration and a valid driver's license. Two years of nursing experience, preferably in pediatrics, school health, or public health, is preferred.
