Portage - Youth Development Professional After School

The youth development professional is responsible for creating, planning, implementing, and supervising high-Quality programs across various areas like art, stem, and sports to support youth academic, social-Emotional, and physical development. This role ensures a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment while supporting grant outcomes and fostering youth voice and leadership.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years old, with some college education preferred, along with previous experience working with youth, preferably elementary school age. Required qualifications include the ability to motivate youth, manage behavior, possess strong communication skills, and obtain cpr/First aid certification, passing background and drug checks.
