Chesterton - Youth Development Professional

The youth development professional is responsible for creating, planning, implementing, and supervising engaging programs and activities in areas like education, arts, sports & fitness, and social recreation. This includes establishing rapport with members, providing guidance for academic success and healthy lifestyles, and ensuring a safe program environment.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years old, with some college education preferred. Required qualifications include previous experience working with youth, knowledge of youth development, strong communication skills, and the ability to obtain cpr and first aid certification, along with passing background and drug checks.
