Intervention Specialist

The intervention specialist supports educational and behavioral goals for all students, particularly those with an individualized education program, by collaborating with teachers on intervention strategies and modifying general education curriculum as needed. Key duties include conducting diagnostic assessments, writing and implementing behavior improvement plans, facilitating iep meetings, and writing iep goals and objectives.

Candidates must possess a current state license and demonstrate knowledge of state standards and common core standards, along with experience in inclusion or co-Teaching models. Essential qualifications include high proficiency in written and verbal communication, comfort with growth-Focused coaching environments, excellent organization, and the ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks.
