Special Ed Teacher GEMS School

The special ed teacher is responsible for providing and supervising educational services to meet the needs of students in their classroom. This includes planning, organizing, and managing classroom activities, as well as supervising non-Exempt personnel.

A bachelor's degree in special education or education is required, along with a nys teaching certification. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree in special education and experience working with individuals needing behavioral support.
