Teaching Assistant Certified EDU School

The teaching assistant provides instructional support and behavioral assistance to students with developmental disabilities under the supervision of a certified teacher. Responsibilities include implementing learning plans, managing classroom behavior, and assisting with clerical duties.

Candidates must have a new york state teacher assistant certification and a high school diploma or equivalent. An associate degree in special education or a related field is preferred, along with experience working with individuals diagnosed with autism and other developmental disabilities.
